The blade is hand-forged from the rake of an old horse hay rake, analog of stee 1066, by master blacksmith Alexey Lonho, from his small workshop in the village. His works are in demand in Siberia.
The handle is made of dried birch, as he is a horse breeder himself, while searching for his herds on his horse, he tags a birch fallen from a hurricane wind or from a flood on the river bank, after a year he saws a naturally dried birch. Thus dried birch is turned out to be very light and strong. The guard is made of sturdy walnut.
The sheath is made of natural leather by wet method. The sheath is covered with a birch liner, the sides are inscribed with the manufacturer's inscriptions.
