The blade is hand forged by blacksmith Ustin Borisov, an analogue of steel 440C, with the traditional groove for knives of the Sakha.
The handle is made in combination with a stabilized birch cap with a mammoth bone. The gards are made of melchior.
The sheath is made by hand of genuine wet leather, covered with a liner made of dried Siberian birch. Hand-sewn with strong waxed threads. On the sides are the mark of the manufacturer and the coat of arms of the Sakha Republic.
A mammoth bone product requires special care. A sharp temperature drop and humidity are not desirable. Store at room temperature (with a glass of water)
